Overview

Wellhouse Leisure is one of the UK’s leading campervan converters, with nearly 20 years of experience transforming Ford, Toyota, and Nissan vehicles into adventure-ready homes on wheels.

In the summer of 2020, campervan demand soared as staycations took over with lockdown coming into place across the UK. Despite having a strong, loyal customer base already, Wellhouse aimed to capture the attention of this new, fast-growing audience.

At the same time, they were relocating their manufacturing base from West to South Yorkshire, making speed and efficiency essential.

They approached Paladin for a rebrand that would reflect their quality, personality, and ambition.

Their logo, unchanged since the 1980s, no longer resonated with modern customers. It was time to evolve – with a brand identity that honoured their heritage whilst also appealing to the modern age.

Challenge

We built a strategy that leaned into emotion over function, refreshing the brand to speak to a new, modern customer base. The original logo stayed, out of commendation for the journey so far, but we added new visual elements.

Like the Wellhouse Wings, and a more vibrant colour palette to bring fresh energy and standout appeal.

Everything came together under a new campaign, Your Wildest Dreams – designed to capture the excitement and possibility that comes with owning a campervan.

The result was a truly integrated campaign involving digital marketing and offline direct marketing.

We started right at the top of the funnel using social media advertising and Google Search and Display ads to increase awareness and capture additional search traffic. Remarketing brought people back to the site.

Outcome

The impact of the rebrand was immediate and well received by both client and customers. Wellhouse not only connected with a broader audience but also reinforced its reputation among loyal customers.

The refreshed identity gave the brand new energy.

From online engagement to printed brochures and billboards, every touchpoint worked together to tell a cohesive story.

With a stronger presence and a clearer voice, the brand is now firmly positioned to lead the next chapter of UK staycations and beyond.
