Stafflex is a long-established recruitment agency serving multiple sectors across Yorkshire and beyond. With demand growing from their clients, they needed a more consistent pipeline of qualified candidates ready to step into roles across education, industrial, and office-based sectors.

Our brief was twofold: drive immediate enquiries for live vacancies and build a deeper candidate database that could support future placements. The goal was clear – generate high-quality leads that directly contributed to successful placements and, ultimately, revenue growth.

The Challenge

Stafflex came to us with a strong reputation and solid internal processes but lacked a digital lead generation strategy that could deliver at scale. While they had an existing online presence, it wasn’t actively driving applications or nurturing long-term candidate interest.

After a deep dive session at Stafflex, we mapped out their business model from the inside out – understanding the nuances of each sector, the economics of a successful placement, and where digital could help fill gaps in candidate flow. We identified two major opportunities: the use of Google PPC to capture high-intent search traffic and optimising landing pages to convert those visitors into CV submissions.

We conducted market research and competitor analysis to benchmark demand and cost per acquisition across sectors. From this, we built a forecast model – predicting monthly CV submissions and the revenue potential tied to each one. This became our performance framework.

Outcome

Within the first few months of launching the campaign, Stafflex saw a significant uplift in both the quantity and quality of applications. Google PPC became a dependable channel for sourcing active job seekers, while improved landing page UX led to stronger conversion rates across devices.

Crucially, the campaign didn’t just deliver short-term wins – it laid the foundation for a more sustainable candidate pipeline. With each CV submission tracked against revenue potential, Stafflex could see the direct impact of marketing on business outcomes.
